2x2 Twill Sheets

Protech Composites manufactures flat carbon fiber sheets and panels in high-quality 2x2 twill weave in four finishes and seven standard thicknesses ranging from .25mm (1/100”) to 3.1mm (1/8”). All sheets are made of 100% carbon fiber – no fillers. See our Summary of Standard Thicknesses page to help you determine which thickness is right for your project.

Our sheets are available in four different finishes: 

• one-sided gloss: .25mm – 1.3mm
• double-sided-gloss: 1.0mm only
• satin: .5mm only – custom thicknesses available
• matte: 1.7mm – 3.1mm with custom thicknesses available
      

High Gloss Finish
The finished side of our high-gloss sheets has a smooth, mirror finish with a deep carbon luster. The backside has a fine, matte texture, ready to stick to your surface with 3M adhesive, glue or tape.

Satin Finish
The satin finish provides a beautiful opaque finish for those who prefer a subtler look. Like our gloss sheets, the backside has a matte texture, which is ideal for adhesive applications.

Matte Finish
The matte finish is most common in thicker carbon fiber plates designed for high strength structural applications. These carbon fiber panels have a textured surface on BOTH sides for easy bonding with no additional surface preparation. Made with premium grade fabrics and structural epoxy resins, these perfectly flat panels will give you the edge you need in your next weight critical project.

Custom thicknesses and dimensions are also available. We will manufacture any thickness up to .5”. Our 2x2 twill is available in 19 standard product dimensions from 4”x4” to 50”x100”. However, if you need another dimension, just ask -- other sizes can be cut for a small cut charge. See Custom Cuts for more information.

We’ve got your back with adhesive 

 3M Adhesive Backing
We also offer optional 3M high performance, high temperature sheet adhesive. This adhesive is rated up to 400 degrees Farenheit! If you order your sheet with adhesive, we’ll send you enough to cover your entire carbon fiber panel. The adhesive will be shipped to you unattached with instructions so you can cut and form the sheet and adhesive to your liking.
