Some Products we currently make and a few of the past projects developed by our engineering team for other companies.
 

Carbon Fiber Sheets:

We are now selling High Gloss Carbon Fiber Sheets and Real Carbon Fiber Panels.  We have a variety of decorative and structural carbon fiber laminates available.

 
Carbon Fiber Bicycle Rims:

Protech Composites has developed a new state of the art, ultra lightweight, low cost carbon fiber bicycle rim. Unlike most carbon fiber bicycle rims available on the market today, this rim is a clincher style rim, which allows use of standard bead tires.  While there are several offerings for carbon fiber rims, none of them come close to our weight and everyday durability.  Engineered for ultimate performance!

PROJECTS - Various Custom Contracts
  

Aerospace Products :

We helped develop a state of the art, ultra light weight medical stretcher for use in life-flight rescue helicopters.  Our engineers on staff were behind the design, development, tooling, and process specifications.  We developed a brand new infusion process to create this assembly with vacuum assisted resin infusion for a high viscosity, fire retardant resin.  While not easy, the process creates a high strength aerospace part that is fire retardant and has a cosmetic finish on the outside.  Our customer, with our help, was able to obtain FAA approval for use in numerous medical helicopter models.
 

Structural Shapes and Custom Parts:

Protech Composites can make a variety of structural shapes out of carbon fiber.  For one customer, we made several types of "C" channel to protect the edges of ballistic armor panels.  We've also produced custom shaped ring inserts to protect the inner edges of cutouts in the same ballistic armor panels.  We've made thick balsa wood core panels for specialty medical floors.  We've made carbon fiber panels as thick at 1/2", and 1/8" thick panels that are 50x100 inches in size.  The list goes on.  We encourage you to call about your design project to see if we can help.  (note:  while we find most of them very interesting, we just can't make single parts for hobbyists or weekend warriors)
