Carbon Fiber Clincher Bicycle Rims

Tough enough for 'cross, stiff enough for low spoke racing; we've engineered the R.30 carbon rim to survive the most demanding users. This all carbon clincher rim is designed for everyday riding use, yet light enough to give you that extra edge on race day. The R.30 Carbon Fiber Bicycle Rim is available with a variety of spoke drillings so your wheels can be tailored to your specific size and usage. Two choices of surface finish are available for the same price, "Black Carbon Uni" style and "Classic Carbon Weave" checkerboard style.

Engineered for Excellence - Carbon Clincher Rims

Each rim is manufactured from 100% High Strength Aerospace Grade Carbon Fiber pre-preg materials that are 40% Stronger than standard consumer carbon fibers. The R.30 clincher rim has a lightweight, high pressure, internal foam core that gives this carbon rim both a weight and stiffness advantage. Add in a new, proprietary high-pressure molding process, and you have a smooth finish, ultra lightweight, carbon fiber clincher rim. Far stronger than aluminum, the all-carbon fiber R.30 bicycle rim allows for a lower spoke count, further reducing weight and aerodynamic drag.

Using our combined 40 years of aircraft carbon fiber engineering experience, we know how to build both strong and lightweight. At only 420 grams, the R.30 carbon fiber bicycle rim went through rigorous static and dynamic testing over a 6 month period Carbon Fiber Bicycle Rim to ensure this Carbon Clincher's durability exceeds that of existing aluminum and hybrid carbon clincher bicycle rims. From crushing static load tests, to high speed wet weather braking, to downhill single tire brake drags, we have put this rim though the gauntlet and it can take the heat (literally!) Our proprietary high temperature carbon fiber epoxy matrix and a few special aerospace tricks allows this clincher rim to handle the heat and pressure of braking without special secondary surface treatments.

Our strengths are engineering and design of complex carbon fiber composites. So instead of selling individual rims, we are licensing our technologies to bicycle and wheel manufacturing companies with the marketing power and existing channels to market these products properly.
